Food bc is amazing, big portions. Great ambiance. Our server was named Kyun, he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. AND helped us out with some parking garage confusion. Thank you so much!!! I suggest this place to everyone!!! We will be back.

Great place, good food and combo options. The marinated beefs are usually the best. Also the fan venting system works pretty good, you dont walk out fully smelling like kbbq. Service is good and usually not very busy

Really solid KBBQ spot, especially for large groups! We were easily accommodated for a 15+ people on short notice which was great! Staff was super attentive and patient as well. The price on the higher side, but I think it coincides with the quality of the food. I really liked the brisket and the pork belly were nice fat to meat ratio consistency. There are great combo options and they change the grill regularly. I also like the air regulation here which is huge so you're not smelling like meat the whole time!

Good food but pricey Portions are small Better if you can speak Korean Ambiance good

Food was really excellent Service was good The table was not for six people, it was four people table, they placed seats so rude next to each other, we didn't have a tiny space even between us And it was very expensive. In overall we had a good experience

We definitely love this place. It may be our go to Kbbq, service is always great their menu specially the sets can feed an army, expensive but go hungry and you wont be disappointed. What makes them special is the amount of banchan they serve you, we love trying all of them. They don't give you much but you can ask for more if you end up liking one more than the other. I also love their Galbi Tang, theirs is probably my one of he best i've had in Ktown, so when we go here I always take one to go. Parking is valet for $5 dollars but its super worth it coz its hard to find parking in the area.

The food was very good, our favorite was the spicy pork, which was actually not too spicy but very flavorful. The service was good, the servers did most of the cooking on the grill. Make sure to save room for desert, their signature Korean pancake with ice cream was delicious! Very happy with Genwa overall, would go again!

There's no shortage of delicious Korean BBQ in Los Angeles, and it ranges from hole-in-the-wall, to mid-range, to more upscale. Genwa falls on the more upscale end, but their lunch special is one of the best deals around. At lunch, the Galbi is a fraction of the price (I want to say $30ish?) and comes with rice, soup, salad, and all the same amazing banchan - around 20 of them! It's only available on weekdays from 12pm-3pm, so take a break from work to take advantage of this deal. When you order the lunch special, you don't get to cook at the table but the delicious, marinated beef comes out on a sizzling iron skillet, cooked perfectly tender.

This is probably one of the best Korean BBQ places to eat at. The food and meat were high quality. The service is also amazing. I really enjoy Korean bbq but sometimes i don't like the cooking part. The server comes to your table to make sure the food is perfect. The ambiance and feel of the restaurant was also very nice. Lots of room and full of people enjoying the food.
